Nikon S Nippon Kogaku

In 1946, Masahiko Fuketa design the Nikon One. The design was taken from the model Contax II ( 1936 ) from Zeiss Ikon. The Nikon One was produced from 1948 to 1949, then to add improvments, was named Nikon M, until 1951, when he made this model, the Nikon S, which was exported to the U.S. market.

This model belonged to the EE.UU Armed Forces, carries a fast 1:1,4 5cm coated lens, with a UV filter manufactured for Nikkor by Walz. The total production was 35.127 cameras, from 1951 to 1954, a beautifull example of Japan tecnology. The lens is immaculate, the original filter was very hard screwd in the 1,4 lens. No signs of clean, no dust, amazing well preserved.
